SYNOPSIS

Ameer, an ambitious college student who always aims for 4.0 GPA. His parents also have high hope that he maintains his academic performance and to give an extra focus during his final semester.

The semester begins smoothly until Dr Arman, Ameer’s lecturer groups him together with Mira and Kak Jai for a class project. Mira is a regular face for repeating the same subject and Kak Jai is a wife and a committed mother of two. This duo gives him a real headache. It is impossible for him to work with Mira and Kak Jai who can’t promise 100% commitment to their project. Ameer loses his temper often and always ends up in a verbal fight with Mira where Kak Jai acts as their peacemaker

Ameer’s anger boils even more when Mira and Kak Jai made a mistake in their project. Ameer scolds Kak Jai in front of other students where Mira stands up for Kak Jai which leads to another verbal fight with Ameer. Mira has almost given up but Kak Jai tells Mira to be patient with Ameer because what he is doing is for their best interest.

Troubles seem to love Ameer, on the day of his project presentation, Ameer forgets to bring his pen drive. A friend gives him a motorcycle ride home but on their way home the motorcycle breaks down and Ameer is forced to take another ride in a smelly car that is filled with the awful smell of dried salted fish. Then Ameer involves in a struggle with a crazy man who snatches a woman’s handbag in front of his eyes. Lucky enough he finally gets to present his project using the same file saved in Mira’s pen drive.

Yet, during the presentation, Ameer freezes as he has no idea how to answer the street-smart questions asked by his lecturer because he relies heavily on textbooks. Mira once again saves the day by giving the answers based on her real-life experience working part time and attending extra classes.

Once the presentation ends, Ameer faints due to lack of sleep and poor eating. He is rushed to the hospital. He then regains his consciousness and realises that this life is not about pursuing ‘A’ in the academics but it is about pursuing ‘A’ the real life and society. Ameer is indebted to Mira and Kak Jai who have taught him about the real-life goals which he is not taught before.
